DIY - Face Serum

A serum is a skin care product that you apply to your skin after cleansing and before moisturizing. Serums help give your skin a fresher, younger and healthier appearance. Face serums are light weight moisturizers that penetrate deeper to deliver active ingredients into your skin. It is mostly recommended for mature skin or skin having dark spots or dull skin. Here, I would like to give a simple DIY to make face serum easily. Do give it a try and give your experiences. I am using this serum for the last one year and can see the glow on my face.

Things required:   (makes around 50 gms)
Aloevera gel                                                 - 3 spoons
Badam oil/extra virgin coconut oil           - ¾ spoon
Rose essential oil                                         - 10 drops
Vitamin E capsules                                       - 4
Rose water                                                    - 10 ml

Method:
In a bowl mix aloevera gel and badam oil with a spoon nicely till you get a semi-solid gel texture. Add rose essential oil, Vitamin E oil (cut the capsules and mix the oil) and rose water and mix gently till you get a smooth gel. Your serum is ready. Fill it in a wide mouth bottle. You can use this serum whenever you wash your face.
Those who have oily skin, use less badam oil and essential oil. Similarly those who have very dry skin, can add more accordingly.
Note: Please do skin test before using the serum regularly. For this apply a little serum on the back of your hand and leave it for a few hours. If there is no irritation or redness then only use it.
